We're about Family...
Everywhere you look at Whittier Church we're hanging out with each other as a family. We laugh together, we tease each other, we cry with each other, we hug each other, we enjoy just being with each other.
Our vision statement is "To be a diverse community that impacts our culture as we are shaped and empowered by Jesus Christ," which really just comes down to this: We want to share the love God has given us with You and your family. It's easy to become part of this family too, just come hang out with us and see.
Our Purpose Statement: "To bring glory to God through Worship, Discipling, Outreach, and Fellowship."
By Worship we mean celebrating God's grace and faithfulness through song, prayer and obedience to His Word.
By Discipling we mean transforming lives through the power of Jesus Christ and learning to become more reliant on the Holy Spirit.
By Outreach we mean communicating the good news of Jesus Christ in a way that is meaningful to the world around us.
And, by Fellowship we mean creating unity, offering encouragement, and loving one another unconditionally....in other words, like Family!
